7 ministers resigned for political ambition

About seven ministers of the Goodluck Ebele Johnathan cabinet have resign to fully mount their political aspirations. The name of the ministers are : minister of information Mr. Labaran Maku, Onyebuchi Chukwu of the health ministry, Emeka wogu of the ministry of labour and productivity, the minister of defence for state, Musiliu Obanikoro. others are: the minister of of state, Niger Delta affairs, Darius Ishaku, Minister of Trade and industry Samuel Ortom and the minister of education( state ),Nyesom Wike .The ministers resigned in compliance with the P.D.P directives of candidates to resign before 20th of October. Inorder to boost their Polical campaigns and awareness, the ministers have seen the need to resign their positions in order to run their political ambition effectively. The former ministers will run for the gubernatorial election in their States of origin. Emeka wogu will contest in Abia state, Labaran Maku will be contesting in Nasarawa state, Onyebuchi Chukwu , Ebonyi state, Samuel Ortom for Benue state, Nyesom wike for Rivers state, Musiliu Obanikoro, Lagos state and Darius Ishaku for Taraba state.president Goodluck Johnathan disclosed the names of the resigning ministers during the Federal Executive Council( FEC)at Abuja, President Johnathan during his valedictory speech stated that the FEC meeting will be the last one the have attended in his cabinet. The were some speculations that the minister of Federal capital territory, senator Bala Mohammad, minister of special duties Kabiru Turaki and the minister of mine and steel Sani Sada are also going to resign today, but the the reverse is the case.
